Craft Hope is making news!

Our fearless leader Jade was recognized October 8, 2017, at the Dallas Cowboys football game, as part of the Dallas Cowboys/Susan G. Komen Star Survivor.

Jade was one of five women selected out of hundreds that entered the essay contest talking about my cancer experience and Craft Hope.  She spent the entire day with the folks from the Susan G. Komen and the Dallas Cowboys at the Frisco Star. Then she represented breast cancer survivors worldwide at the Dallas Cowboys game vs. the Green Bay Packers on October 8, 2017 in a pregame midfield ceremony and halftime. It was such an honor for her to have been selected and have that experience. Spread hope.

Editorial Reviews —

“The Craft Hope blog started with a cute pillowcase dress and an overflowing bushel of charitable impulse. The purpose of the website couldn’t have been more straightforward: organize crafters to  make handmade items for those less fortunate than ourselves. This goodwill umbrella covered the world; homeless families huddled under bridges; survivors of African wars and Haitian earthquakes; human and wildlife victims of the Gulf Oil Spill. Craft Hope the book isn’t just a handout: It’s an assemblage of step-by-step instructions for dozens of cute, attractive projects.” — Barnes & Noble

“Two things I admire Jade’s writing and compiling of this book: Firstly, she is a mother and a crafter herself. She is not advocating something that she does not practice herself. Secondly, before you begin any of the projects in the book, she has a wonderful chapter on Crafting Hope with Care. In this chapter, she discusses honestly and in detail the responsibility we have as donors to “give in a way that is respectful, responsible, and empowers the recipient…” — Story Circle Book Reviews
